How long have you been shopping sustainably & what led you to have an interest in sustainable fashion?

I went vegan over 2 years ago and as I learnt more about veganism , I also learnt about the world and how not only our food but lifestyle can impact the planet. I want to do everything I can to save our planet and live a clean lifestyle too. My sustainable fashion journey started about 6 months ago and I have never looked back!

Do you find it difficult to shop sustainably for fashion?

I found it difficult at first but as soon as I did my research and found sustainable brands it wasn’t difficult at all. I have really enjoyed switching over to sustainable fashion!

What are your top three fave sustainable fashion brands (can be big or small)?

Have you learnt anything along the way of transitioning to shopping sustainably that has shocked you about fast fashion?

Whilst transitioning to sustainable and learning about fast fashion I found out more and more on how people are exploited whilst making the clothing for cash fashion brands. I never truly knew how bad the conditions are. It made me want to fully go sustainable even more!

For anyone wanting to live and shop more sustainably, what’s the top tip you would give them to start?
.
My top tips are, rework your clothes you’ve got and create new pieces from them. Check out Depop and eBloggers to buy preloved clothes that you can give a second life to. I believe we can all do our part and do our best to not buy from fast fashion!
