As an ever-growing British brand with sustainability at the core of everything we do, we wanted to remind all of our customers & followers (loyal & new) of our sustainability promise and the reasons of why it is so important to us today & always.
.
Ever since day one of Whale Of A Time launching four years ago by our young founder Ellie Wales, creating an eco-friendly brand was one of the most important values from the very start. We're proud to say that four years on and with the brand growing as fast as it has, we are more transparent than ever in responsible sourcing, how we work only with plastic free packaging & amongst many other things, being proud that our full manufacturing & sourcing of eco-friendly fabrics is done here in Britain, keeping our carbon footprint to a minimum.

So, why does it matter?
.
Giving our customers the confidence to shop with both sustainability and style in mind is what we're proud off. Environmentally conscious clothing is on the rise and at Whale Of A Time it's something that we feel hugely passionate about, creating premium classic styles that will last throughout all the seasons is what we love.
.
Did you know, just one cotton t-shirt can use up to 700 gallons of water to make, that’s close to 18 full bathtubs worth! However, by investing in clothing made from 100% Organic Cotton you're buying in to fashion that uses 88% less water and of which no toxic chemicals go into the making - it's a no brainer to shop organic!

.
Our Mission
.
We’ll always design style that’s effortless, contemporary and has sustainability in mind. Collections that are long lasting & help people make more considered choices. We're lucky to have a highly engaged community of customers and social media followers that have expressed just how important sustainability is to you all, which we're always happy to hear and keeps us on track to continue learning & challenging our sustainability practices.
.
Since the summer of 2019 when our manufacturing moved back in to Britain, we're now able to work closer than ever with our suppliers & manufacturers, allowing us to be fully transparent with you all in creating behind the scenes videos within our factories, Q&A interviews with our suppliers & for you all to learn more about our production process. Click here to watch our first behind the scenes factory video made so far.

There’s never a wasted item
.
We hate to see any Whale Of A Time products go to waste, especially as each and every item is made from durable, sustainable fabrics. So for that reason we have our much loved Depop samples sale of which all of our faulty and discontinued styles get re-listed at great prices.. recycling fashion at it’s best!
As we continue our sustainability promise in creating casual wear with longevity in both style and quality, follow us on Instagram, connect with us on LinkedIn or feel free to message us on any channel, we love to hear from you!

They’re incredibly versatile – dress them up with a polo or keep it relaxed with a tucked-in tee.

Colour Trends for 2025: Pastels Are In

Soft, sun-faded colours are everywhere this season – and we’ve embraced them across the SS25 collection. Pastels like mint green, blush pink, and sky blue are not only on-trend, they’re also flattering, easy to wear, and perfect for summer layering.

How to Style the Collection:

For Her: Pair the Polzeath Polo in pink with white jeans and espadrilles for effortless weekend chic. Add the Oban Shorts in stone and a tote for the perfect beach day look.

For Him: Style the Portrush Polo in navy with your go-to jeans or chino shorts, and boat shoes for a clean, polished look. Finish with our classic Quarter Zips for an essential layer when the sun goes down.
